This spring, Charmed Haven took an exciting step forward: we officially began growing the corporate event side of our family business.

For more than 13 years, Charmed Haven has been something Syd and I have built together as a mother-daughter team. We have grown it while juggling our J-O-Bs, school, family, and already-full calendars. Sometimes, building a business means squeezing tasks into small gaps—answering emails before work, sourcing charms at night, preparing displays on weekends, and talking through ideas whenever we find a few quiet minutes together.

It has not always been easy, but we are building something that belongs to our family.

Creating a More Sustainable Future

For the past five years, I have worked in a field that has not always felt stable. That uncertainty changed how I thought about Charmed Haven. I no longer saw it only as a creative business we enjoyed building together. I began to see a path toward something sustainable—and possibly my retirement dream.

Our goal is to create a family legacy that can grow, evolve, and provide opportunities for years to come. Launching our Dallas corporate event entertainment services has become an important part of that vision.
